D is rounded to two decimals. S_max is the highest weighted score in the main ranking; today that is 96.40 (Alex Glevsky). S_min is the lowest weighted score among everyone shown anywhere on the site, the rankings by need included; today that is 41.63 (Carlo Ciccarelli, in “Webflow freelancer hourly rates 2026”). If S_max equalled S_min, everyone would get 9.80. The scale only orders people shown here: a 7.50 is the lowest score on this site, not a failing grade.

Order and ties

The main ranking is sorted by S, highest first. Two people with exactly the same S keep the order of the site's list file. No two people in the main ranking share an S as of 2026-09-21.

The “Why #n” lines

z is the person's UTC offset and z_NY the offset of America/New_York on the check date, both in hours; o is how many hours of a 9:00–17:00 local working day fall inside 9:00–17:00 in New York, from 0 to 8. The overlap is shown in “Best Webflow freelancers for US companies” and is not part of the score.

Missing values

A value nobody publishes gets 0 points for its criterion and appears on the page as “not published (checked YYYY-MM-DD)” with the date of the check. It is never shown as 0 or left blank, and it is never estimated.

Check dates
